Welcome to the Gymhulk Ltd’s privacy notice that gives you information on how the Gymhulk Ltd’s collects and processes your personal data through your use of this website, including any data you may provide through this website when you sign up to our newsletter, purchase a product or take part in a competition.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
We may collect personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified except (anonymous data).
We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data such as your name, username (email address) and title. billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers, your previous orders with us, your interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses, IP address, your username & password, demographic info such as location and age group, and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.
When we process your payment we will also collect but will not store your card details & Paypal information.
With your consent we may collect marketing and communications data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences.
We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal or sensitive Data about you according to The UK GDPR such as:

If you fail to provide personal data that is required to process your transaction we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

In summary, we will only use your personal data within the legal boundaries such as to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you or where it is necessary for our legitimate interests or where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

• Paypal for processing payments and transactions.
• Royal Mail, based In the UK who provide shipping services.
• DHL, based In the Germany who provide shipping services.
• Google, based In the USA who provide marketing services
• Facebook, based In the USA who provide marketing services.
• Instagram, based In the USA who provide marketing services.
• Snapchat, processors based in the US who provide marketing services.
• Tiktok Information Technologies UK, based in the UK who provide marketing services.
• Pinterest, based in the US who provide marketing services.
• We hire freelancers for consultations, marketing, web developments and other services as required with whom we may need to share information. All freelancers sign a non-disclosure agreement with us to keep your data safe.  
• We may share your information with professional advisers acting as processors or joint controllers including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers based in the UK who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services.
• We share your data with HM Revenue & Customs acting as processors based in the United Kingdom who require reporting of processing activities in certain circumstances.

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We share your personal data within the Shopify, Stripe Group and Rocket Science Group(s), we also share your personal data with Google, Facebook and other smaller applications that interact with our store to give you a better user experience.

DATA SECURITY AND PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Data retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

By law we have to keep basic information about our customers including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data for six years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
